Traditional Keerai Kootu

A simple home-style spinach recipe using fresh organic keerai, dal and mild seasoning.

Wash and chop the keerai.

Cook dal until soft, then combine with keerai, turmeric and salt. Temper with mustard, cumin, garlic and curry leaves. Simmer briefly and serve hot with traditional rice.
